Appointment and Cancellation Policy

Your arrival

Unfortunately, any appointment for which the patient arrives more than 15 minutes late cannot be honored, as the practitioner will no longer have enough time to treat your case under proper conditions. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early.

To ensure the practice runs smoothly and to respect the time reserved for each patient, certain rules apply in the event of a late cancellation or missed appointment.

Important information about bank preauthorizations

A bank preauthorization is not an immediate payment. No amount is charged to your card if the booking conditions are respected. The preauthorization is used only as a booking guarantee and will only be charged in the event of:

• missing the appointment without notice;
• cancelling less than 48 hours before the appointment when specific booking conditions apply;
• repeated cancellations over a short period.

Late cancellations

Any cancellation made less than 48 hours before the appointment is considered a late cancellation.

• After a first late cancellation, a €25 bank preauthorization may be required when booking the next appointment.
• In the event of a repeat occurrence, a €25 slot-holding fee may be requested, together with a bank preauthorization.
• This preauthorization will only be charged if you do not attend the next booked appointment or if you cancel again less than 48 hours before the appointment.
• After several repeated late cancellations, the practice may apply stricter booking conditions.

Repeated cancellations

Even when cancellations are made more than 48 hours in advance, frequent cancellations can disrupt the organization of the practice.

• After several repeated cancellations (more than 3 over a short period), a €25 bank preauthorization may be required for any new booking.
• In some cases, a €25 slot-holding fee may also be applied.

Missed appointment without notice

Any missed appointment without notice causes a significant loss of time for the practice and prevents other patients from benefiting from the reserved time slot.

• In the event of an unreported absence, a €25 compensation fee and a €25 bank preauthorization may be required for future appointments.
• In the event of repeated absences, the practice reserves the right to accept or refuse future appointment requests.

Important

Slot-holding fees and compensation fees related to late cancellations or absences are not covered by health insurance.
